The Tenancy Deposit Scheme has announced its integration with Onboardr, a leading tenant onboarding software provider, to automate deposit registrations with TDS’ API solution.
One-click deposit protection
The time-consuming task of duplicating deposit data from a CRM system onto a deposit scheme platform has always been an admin-heavy task. With TDS API, agents no longer need to spend time manually inputting this data. The TDS PropTech automatically transfers the data, removing time lost duplicating deposit entries, reducing inaccuracies and saving agents valuable time.
Lee, the co-founder of onboardr comments:
“Our TDS integration allows for easy one-click deposit protection! The required information for the API request is already collected at the point of onboarding the landlord, their property and the incoming tenant.
We avoid duplication of effort with double data entry in multiple dashboards thereby avoiding potential mistakes, we provide reports weekly (optional daily) of deposits on hand and received from incoming tenants and their current protected status, our dashboard shows the status of all deposits to all staff with count down reminders and warnings approaching the deadline for protecting them, and once a deposit is protected the disposit status is communicated automatically to staff, landlord and tenant.”
Tenant onboarding experience
Onboardr helps to provide a consistent and simple process-driven onboarding experience for their clients. The onboarding of new tenants, landlords, and portfolios can be complex and disorganised, especially with the increasing trend of remote work and dispersed teams. Onboardr aims to help agents organise their onboarding procedures, whether they operate as a single agency or a multi-agency on a national level.
Debbie Davies, TDS Head of Sales and Client Success comments:
“We are thrilled about our integration with Onboardr, which marks a crucial step in simplifying deposit protection for agents. Onboardr’s platform working with the TDS API allows agents to handle deposit protection seamlessly with just a click. This integration not only streamlines administrative tasks but also enhances efficiency during the onboarding process. This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing agents with powerful tools that make things easier and supports compliance effortlessly.”
